The Hollywood Foreign Press Association recognized one of the most deserving people and production in various categories. There are lots of wonderful projects in television and movie. However, according to The Washington Post, nominations for movie are split into two categories-the drama and comedy or musical.

The American Hustle obtained nominations from musical/comedy classification. Among the casts that get their nominations are Amy Adams for the best actress, Christian Bale for the best actor, Bradley Cooper for best supporting actor and Jennifer Lawrence for the best supporting actress. The award-giving body also offered a nomination for David O. Russell for best director. The movie got nominations for both best musical/comedy and the best screenplay.

12 Years A Slave is among the most nominated drama picture. Chiwetel Ejifor is nominated for the best actor for the drama category. Co-actors Michael Fassbender and Lupita Nyong’o bought nominated for the best supporting actor and actress, respectively. Steve McQueen also gained nominated for the best director. The motion picture acquired nominations for best drama, best screenplay and the best original score.

The best drama movies that complete this season’s Golden Globe event are 12 Years A Slave, Captain Phillips, Gravity, Rush, Slave and Philomena.
